~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ The Sierra Nevada Chapter of SLA invites you to join us at our Fall 2016 Workshop to be held Friday, November 18: Generation Gap - Benefits & Challenges of a Mixed Generation Workforce We live in an era of stereotyping people based on age and culture. The past (old), present (relevant), and future (new) are labeled as different sets of ideas that are either "good" or "bad." Instead, what if the strategy is to harvest great ideas wherever and whenever they occur? In this workshop we will explore where these generational labels came from, how to blend the best of the old and new, find common ground, and establish guidelines for a timeless workplace. The workshop will be led by Pat Wagner, a renowned educator/ professional trainer with 40 years of consulting experience. Her most recent project, Siera: Consulting, Training and Production Services, focuses on workplace education and consulting, both online and face-to-face. This is a workshop you will definitely want to attend. Sign up now to save your spot!
