All we know to do is pray. Not that it is the last thing to do; it is the first thing and the 'always' thing, but somewhere we are missing it. Bob knows he is, and I know I am as well.
It appears the bank is going to call the note on our son's home, and we, having not been good stewards in some years past...(though we surely were not out there throwing money around in any way...but somehow never seemed to get it right), now have no money nor way to help our own son and wife and their two little ones. And he is not asking, nor is his dear wife. But they desperately need help and we don't have it. If we had $50 we would give it to them. But we don't. We don't have enough money for dinner tonight, and it isn't looking better down the line so far; many of you have been there before or are now, I know. But there's such a difference between that and feeling like the scum of the earth when we can't help our kids. Please, if you have a clue what we should be doing that we are not doing, let us know right away. Thank you, and I already know I sound desperate and whiny, so don't bother to tell me so, please.
