Bella arrived home last night! Thanks be to God! Her surgery on Friday was a rousing success which has lead to a tremendous improvement in her condition. So, after almost 5 weeks in the hospital Bella's brothers and sisters got to unwrap their extra special Christmas present. Our cozy bundle that we brought home through our front door, not the chimney, was beaming with smiles and so happy to finally be home. We cannot thank you enough for your prayers, concern, support and good wishes. We want to thank again all of the brilliant and compassionate people at CHOP who took exceptional care of Bella. Tonight at midnight mass in addition to our family praising and thanking God for sending us His son and returning our daughter home, we will be thanking Him for blessing us with so many wonderful intercessors whose prayers and deeds on behalf of Bella have flooded heaven from literally all over the world. A priest told me that Bella is doing such great work for God in this world. I asked how could that be. He said "that she is inspiring and motivating many people to go to God in prayer for her. See, she is bringing people to Him. What more can any of us do." And a little child shall lead them. What a blessing. To all of you who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas. To those of other faiths, thank you for helping to make ours so special.
