I received the following from my Sister-in-law. Leah is Sandra and
Skip's youngest Daughter (12). She turned 11 shortly after my Mom
died. In 2007 we all endured deaths of both Parents, 4 months apart.
When Leah speaks of Hospice, it is where my Dad passed away from
complications due to C.O.P.D. and she had visited him many, many
times thinking he would get better. Now she is facing her Maternal
Great Grandmother's deterioration due to Alzheimer's and her
Maternal Grandfather has been diagnosed with Cancer. I only know the
last name of Sandra's Grandmother and that is Mrs. Gaines. Sandra's
Father's name is Coy Owens. Please pray as you are led, especially
for Leah. All of the past trauma caused her to pull out her arm hairs
and her eyebrows. If you wish to send words of encouragement to
Sandra, I will send them to her. She works out of her home and her
email is primarily used for business purposes.

Cindi,

My grandmother is getting weaker everyday. Leah has asked to see her
and when I explained to her that she was at Hospice, Leah said she
wanted to go then quickly followed with..."That's not where Pops was
is it?" When I told her that is right she just held her head down and
walked off. I think she changed her mind.

Today my dad has his follow up CT. He was diagnosed with Kidney
cancer the first week of December. The mass has not changed at all.
He is not physically able to have surgery to remove his kidney and
Chemo is not recommended for this type of cancer. We are just sitting
on it until it changes. The doc said this type normally does not
spread. Pray for him too.

Sandra

Lord, may everything we do begin with Your inspiration and continue
with Your help,
so that all our prayers and works may begin in You and by You be happily ended.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
