Shared with Jan's permission <*}}}>< <*}}}>< I have a prayer request tonight. My daughter is 24 and going to have a baby any day now. She is not married, so she has just me and her brothers for family support. She has been a real trooper during this pregnancy, no complaints, no gripes, no mood swings, no whining, she has just been terrific. Unfortunately the "sperm donor" as she refers to the baby's father, is nowhere to be seen, but his mother and younger sister have been very supportive since they found out she was going to have his baby. So I am not ashamed of this unplanned pregnancy. I am actually looking forward to welcoming this wonderful bundle of joy into our lives.
My request is that I will be a Godly grandmother, to this wonderful new little person, that he will feel Jesus living in my heart and I can be an influence in his life. I want him to know that he is coming into a family that will love and cherish him and that we can bring him up in a good Christian, Jesus loving home. Please pray with us as we prepare to open our arms to another branch of our family. I have been so sad today, because i miss my husband so much. I thought of how he would feel right now and i know that he would love this baby, because he came from his baby. I just wish he was here with us, sharing our joy. On the way home from the hospital today, my daughter had to get monitored because they thought the baby was not breathing well, but everything is fine and she goes back tomorrow, anyway, i told her I guess her daddy is through play and getting to know the baby and figures it is time for us to have him down here on earth for a little while. My middle son is coming down to be with me and his sister, and I thank God for that. Pray that he has a safe trip and will get here safely. Thank you for listening to me.
