Was in town running errands to try to beat the storms and the warning of tornadoes when lady behind me at the store said that so and so town was hit by tornado at 3:00 ,,but they knew no details..It had already looked very wicked in our area hours early..The one hitting there at Divine Mercy time so I held some good hopes and thoughts..I had been saying the Chaplet to ward the storms off..and praying for protection. Of course immediately called my children to learn if they were alright. (which thanks be to God they were) Was so relieved...That same monster storm kept us in a tornado warning where we live also..and still not heard where there was any damage here or not..We did get storm after storm and massive rains all night long..along with huge winds all night long.
We are being told that there were at least 3 tornadoes here in Ok..last night..Two were called super cells and described as monster storms..That one that hit one mile from our children's house F3 was monster tornado..and wiped out 9 homes totally..Also they had baseball size hell..there. Also a town called Lone Grove had 8 tragically killed and 13 wounded..and 30 still missing..so very sad to say..These poor people..and families and friends..who must be suffering so much..One dear woman said material things are replaceable but life is not. Am hopeful that we will hear some miraculous stories in the days to come. I did hear that Texas had basketball hail..and that Missouri and Arkansas got hit too..but have not heard any details..Had some friends in Texas so was praying for them..too..for their safety. You may remember that Jesus told St. Faustina to say the Chaplet against storms..so i was..and the prayer from the Pieta against storms and the one to St. Genevieve too..Also yesterday was the feast of St. Scholastica..who is patron of storms so I was calling on her too....Was hoping to put reminder out about her yesterday and ask for prayers for all states in concern but with everything happening never got the chance..to do it.
