My Dear Partners in Prayer: It is with a heavy heart that I come to you to ask for prayers for Aunt Margaret. The doctors have recently discovered a secondary cancerous tumour under her arm and are now trying to determine where the primary cancer is. She will be undergoing extensive testing over the next couple of weeks in order to identify the location.
Aunt Margaret is the grandmother of 8 year old Benjamin who has the inoperable brain tumour. Benjamin, by the grace of God is still with us, although his health is deteriorating, he is losing weight and his energy levels are very low. I am pleading prayer for Aunt Margaret's entire family who is feeling the pains and frustrations of these major illnesses in their family. They are a very faithful family and Aunt Margaret admitted trying to bargain with God, asking Him to take her instead of little Benjamin. In some respect she believes this may be what is happening. Although realistically she knows this is NOT how Our Father works. She is showing remarkable strength despite this devastating news and my mother, her sister, believes it is in large part due to her unfaltering faith. Please pray for Aunt Margaret, Benjamin and the entire family as they are faced with these major health burdens. May God continue to Bless you all for your faithfulness.
