Hi all,
It has been very quiet and eerie early mornings these days since Robins and
Catbirds have stopped singing in last two weeks. Only the Cardinal was going
on. Today he was also quiet or may be I was fast asleep. But, I heard this
scolding from the cedar bushes. So when I looked out to see who it is, he flew
away to the spruces and scolded from there. It took a minute or so to realize
he was a Carolina Wren as I had just been woken by him. Now he has been
singing cheery merry song for last ten minutes! Right now Jays are also doing
their fall calls.

Did anyone go to MNWR yesterday? I might be heading in that direction
sometimes. I am curious to know what was seen there?

Cheers
