After reading the post about possible red-necked grebes off Van Dyne Spoor Rd (Savannah NY), I went out to check the area. All I could find was the usual pied-billed grebes, coots, common gallinules, cormorants, and ring-billed gulls. I spent about 20 minutes at the turn-around and didn't see much else. --
