Around Montezuma this morning at sunrise, some C. Geese, 1 mature Bald Eagle, 1
male Hooded Merganser, couple N. Harriers & Red-tailed hawks. Over to East
Rd/Potato shed lots of geese (Snow & Canada) but no Snowy Owl. Gulls all over
this morning with some ducks (mostly Mallards). A pair of Horned Larks and
several Tree Sparrows between Van Dyne Spoor and Wright Rds. Up to Sodus Point
in the almost blizzard conditions, lots of Long-tails just in the bay, several
Horned Grebes, and few flocks of Mergansers (RB?). Visibility was very poor and
North wind kept most stuff in the bay.
