Cool bird! And with that precise description of the location it appears that it was outside the Cayuga Lake Basin by less than a mile, being in the drainage of Mill Creek, which flows into Seneca Lake just south of Lodi Point Marine Park. I am envious of the sighting nonetheless. That can be a tough bird to find around here, as well as very cute.

Judy Abrams just called to report that she saw a NORTHERN PARULA with a flock of Chickadees in Hector. She was in the woods about a half-mile north of the parking area on Seneca Rd. between Potomac and Warner Corners Rd.
