This afternoon I went for a stroll around the Park Preserve. There were a fair 
number of birds around, highlighted by a flock of 12 COMMON REDPOLLs flying 
overhead calling. I also had a single flyover finch, which was likely a 
White-winged Crossbill but I didn't see it well and it never called. Other 
highlights included a Ruby-crowned Kinglet and 11 Golden-crowned Kinglets.
