Hi all, After these first few owls flew by the buildings on Morgan Road (they didn't come out until about 5:45), Scott Haber, Susan Newman and I decided to head down to the distant birds near Carncross Road, where we could see birds fighting with each other and perching from afar.
When we arrived at Carncross Road, we found a close bird flying by over the newly constructed bridge, headed back towards Morgan Road. (This may have been the bird that Colleen saw at about the same time). We also had a distant bird near the treeline to the Northeast and a very close and cooperative bird hunting back and forth over the berm just to the north of the road, for a total of 6 birds in the immediate area.
