Hi all, Many people got to see the beautiful Snowy Owl in Danby today, thanks to the generosity of the landowners! The owl was gone by 4:30. If it returns tomorrow and if the landowners are still willing to have so many visitors, I will post that information. In the meantime, I will not be sending directions anymore and please do not go there tomorrow unless we again have permission to enter their property. The first time the owl appeared, November 26, it stayed only for a day and then was not seen again until today. So, who knows! It's probably worth checking the fields along East Miller Rd. tomorrow anyway.
