Hello Paul Anderson,

From the Saturday article in the Ithaca Journal, I found your email
address as the president of cayugabirdclub.org <http://cayugabirdclub.org>.

I am not sure if this is useful or not, but considering the recent
article, thought I should contact you all.

Tonight, Jan 5 at about 8:25pm I spotted a snowy owl while heading east
along Perry City. We turned onto Perry City from the 227/228
intersection and saw the snowy owl before the intersection with what I
think is Waterburg. (After the citing, we passed two streets I was
unable to read and then I saw Inge Johnson LMT on the GPS as
the first definite landmark.)

I saw something move on the north side of the road aways ahead. It flew
from the ground to the south side of the road and then up into the air.
With its massive wing span in full view, I exclaimed, "It's a snowy
owl!" and it led us from in front of the passenger side. I opened the
window and started laughing and calling out, "You're amazing! Thank you
so much!" It then dropped back a bit, flying over the car. Then it flew
in front of us on the driver side, leading us for quite a stretch, while
I continued to laugh and announce thanks, before it dropped over the car
and then out of view.

Again, I hope this is useful. If i should not relay this information to
you, or if you know who I should contact instead, please let me know.

With thanks,
Alexis
