The birds are lined up along the northern shore and there probably are
about 1000 conservatively. From lower lake road too distant to id scaup or
even ring necked ducks but there are at least scaup and lots of redheads.
These birds are hopefully avoiding the hunters. I saw lots of aythya flying
up the lake earlier as the barrage of gun fire scaring them.
