2 BROWN THRASHER yard birds! Last year I had here 3 Brown Thrashers - I presumed they were a parent and 2 juveniles, hanging around the road edge and eating the bird food I put on the ground in my front yard each day (I have the fattest squirrels in the county).
Today, 2 Brown Thrashers were foraging under the big Spruce tree in my front yard; I wonder if they could be 2 of the ones from last year? Whatever - they are beautiful yard birds! I saw one B T on Sweazey Rd., Lansing, (off Rt. 34B) yesterday, in the woods/orchard edge bushes.
