While recording Brown Thrasher in the FLNF this morning (pre-dawn), heard my
first VEERY singing.

CHIMNEY SWIFTS (50) were in the air at the corner of N Tioga & Court Streets,
Ithaca. There was also a MERLIN calling intermittently to the NE of that
corner. I suspect there may be a nest in a tall spruce there.

A WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW is currently foraging under our feeder.
