On both Saturday and Sunday morning we heard the whinny call of a screech owl just before 6:am. Seems we are a stopping ground for screechies on the move over the last three years-and just for a couple of days in the fall.
While watching the eclipse from our driveway we had a super clear and cloudless view. The Milky Way was bright and we saw two amazing shooting stars. Gorgeous evening.
