Timing is everything! As I was heading to the compost, a foy RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET began singing in the tree next to me. It sang once more, then fell silent. A short time later, as I glanced out the kitchen window, I saw our foy FLICKER. The bird remained in the yard for a very short time, and then flew off. Timing is everything!!!!
