Montezuma National Wildlife Complex (MNWC) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex 
(MWC)------------
19 species of Shorebirds were reported at the complex this week. again most 
were seen along the Wildlife Drive at at Knox-Marsellus Marsh.
     9/23: A WILSON’S PHALAROPE was seen at the Visitor’s Center and was seen 
through the 25th.      9/24: A GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH was seen on Esker Brook 
Trail.     9/25: 10 species of shorebirds were seen along the Wildlife drive 
including a WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER and both DOWITCHERS.

Onondaga county------------
     9/22: A GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH was seen at Raddison River Park south of 
Phoenix.     9/23: A BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was seen along the Creek Walk 
near Hiawatha Boulevard in Syracuse.     9/25: A PHILADELPHIA VIREO and a 
LINCOLN’S SPARROW were seen at Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville.

Oswego County------------
     9/19: A GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH was found at a private resicence in Hastings. 
A PHILADELPHIA VIREO was seen at Tannery Creek in Fulton.     9/24: A 
SANDERLING was seen at the outlet of Sandy Pond.

Madison County------------
     9/19: 8 species of shorebirds including a WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER were seen 
at the Madison Street Impoundment north of Hamilton.     9/24: 3 AMERICAN 
GOLDEN PLOVERS and 2 BAIRD’S SANDPIPERS were foung at the Sky High Sod Farm 
north of Chittenango.

Oneida County------------
     9/20: A GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH was seen at the Spring Farm Nature Sanctuary 
south of Clinton.

Herkimer County------------
     9/23: 2EVENING GROSBEAKS, 2 RED CROSSBILLS, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, a 
BOREAL CHICKADEE and a GRAY JAY were seen in the vicinity of Little Moose Lake 
in the Adirondacks.     9/25: A CONNECTICUT WARBLER was reported from a private 
residence north of Dolgeville.
