A CACKLING GOOSE was seenat the Visitors Center 3/18: An EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL and an EURASIAN WIGEON continue at the Visitors Center. 4 SANDHILLL CRANES were seen from East Road. Onondaga County ------------ 3/13: 2 BLACK VULTURES were again seen from Homewood Drive in Fayetteville. They were observed on 3/14 and 3/15 also. 3/17: A SNOWY OWL was see from Rt. 81 near Nedrow. 3/18: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen at Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville. Derby Hill Bird Observatory ------------ Although weather did not cooperate this week there were birds to be seen. Officially only 76 birds were recorded as migrants 12 GOLDEN EAGLES were counted, many low offering great views. Also a NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen on 3/15. Oneida county ---------- 3/18: 2 RED CROSSBILLS were found on the Oneida county area of North Lake Road near Forestport.
