Happy May 1st, and what a beautiful spring day it is!

Please consider joining us this weekend- there will be something for everyone 
at the Montezuma Audubon Center's 12th Annual Wildlife Festival in Savannah, NY 
on Saturday, May 5th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. !

KrittrKris and Feathered Friends, Kindred Kingdoms Wildlife Rehabilitation 
Center, and Wildlife Defenders will deliver animal programs throughout the day 
featuring owls, hawks, falcons and mammals. Festival goers can get up close to 
these amazing animals, learn about their wild characteristics, and take a

Another highlight of the festival will be the Family Theater Tent featuring the 
professional magician and good-natured dean of green, Professor GreenPockets, 
who will perform the "Bug Show" and "Magic of the Forest," fun, family-oriented 
shows that promote ecology, habitat conservation and the protection of 
endangered species. A new feature at the Wildlife Festival this year will be a 
24-foot high rock wall to get a birds eye view of Montezuma! Children will also 
enjoy the huge bounce house, making nature crafts and stained glass art, 
building a bluebird box, playing nature games and winning prizes! Wildlife 
enthusiasts can fish their way to the backyard bass game and then fly over to 
see the dragons in the pond!

The festival schedule also includes guided canoeing trips and birdwatching 
walks, a native plant sale, country music from 103.5 FM Big Dog Country, Tom 
Barnes Acoustic Music, food trucks featuring Lady Bug Lunch Box, the Chicken 
Bandit, Cayuga Lake Creamery, Sugary Delights, ice cream floats and delicious 
baked goods, balloon animals with Miss Twist, face painting, dozens of local 
vendors and exhibitors and much more!
