Found a singing Vesper Sparrow along Rumsey Road (Town of Hector, Schuyler
County) this morning and had a nice view of it through binoculars, as well.
The sun was behind me, shining on the bird. Lovely! I hadn't seen one in
quite a while, so this was a real treat.
A Fox Sparrow continues to sing from a nearby hedgerow. I've been hearing
it for two weeks.
