Oh, how very sad! He was such a wonderful soul. I remember going on a bird trip to Canada with he and his wife to see the Snowy Owls. Spending time in the car to and fro gave me a glimpse into his fascinating life! What a gentle soul, an avid bird watcher and loyal supporter of the CBC. I loved reading his occasional post through the years. He will be missed.
