Shortly after I spotted the White-winged Scoters on Dryden Lake today, I saw 7
Long-tailed Ducks as well.

Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Cortland gulls and waterfowl

The snow today didn't seem to ground too many watetfowl on southern Cayuga Lake
this morning, but the scene was more dramatic at the Cortland gravel pits this
evening, with nearly 50 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, two late Iceland Gulls, and
uncommon-for-Cortland Long-tailed Duck and White-winged Scoters resting on the
water there.
