It seems like the Chipping Sparrows, Eastern Towhees, and Eastern Phoebes all took the same flight in to the Finger Lakes this week!
Yesterday I saw a chipping sparrow at the feeders. I also heard, then saw, the towhee bopping around in a thicket at the edge of the yard. This morning I heard the phoebe singing! Unrelated to birds, I also saw my FOY bats in Geneva on Tuesday.
