Rate: $40/hr-Max Skills: Cobol, JCL, CICS, SAS, Analysis Communication: 9/10 Duration: 6 to 12 Months Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota Here is some additional information about the position: * * *Job description: * *Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 5-7 years experience. * * * · Works on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develops and prepares computer solutions. · Performs and leads modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. · Verifies program logic by preparing test data for trial runs, tests and debugs programs. · Participates in the overall systems testing. · Supports the implementation of the application into production. The position will be required to complete a number of relatively independent project related tasks in a mainframe (Cobol, CICS, JCL, and some de-conversion of SAS) environment. There will also likely be considerable work in working with base level tasks related to re-writing some existing processes for additional efficiency. The preference would be the ASE4 level or potentially ASE5 as we need an individual with the ability to be productive working in an independent mode.
