This person is being brought in as a supplemental resource to assist the in-house architect with a 50/50 mix of new and existing applications which require architecture and documentation. Will be a mix of enterprise web applications and business applications from multiple departments within the organization. Most developed applications are written using C# and ASP.NET. Environments include multiple load-balanced web/application server farms and clustered database servers (SQL 2008). Position will provide technical leadership to one or more project development teams within the organization and will be responsible for enforcing policies, procedures, and best practices. Primary Responsibilities · Provide technical leadership to application development groups utilizing the Microsoft development tools and an Object Oriented (OO)/Service Oriented (SO) development approach. This includes ownership of analysis, design, and development consulting processes, as well as performing design and code reviews. Will also be providing documentation. · Enforcing established company-wide architecture guidance, and providing feedback on the existing guidance. · Provide expert advice and assistance in terms of technical troubleshooting and resolving significant issues to root cause. If necessary take the lead role in resolving an issue. Required · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science · Excellent n-Tier architecture client/server and web development skills using Microsoft technologies (.NET Framework, C#, ASP.Net).
