Please include your employer details as well and reply to my official id [email protected] <[email protected]>* *JOB TITLE: ETL Developer* * Location: NJ-New Jersey/Princeton* * Duration: 6 months* *M.O.I Telephonic +Skype* *Only required USC,GC,EAD-GC for this requirement* *JOB RESPONSIBILITY:* · Design and implement new ETL solutions for external GRE EDM · Design and implement new ETL solution for external TOEFL EDM · Full functional knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, development, and design · Provides technical expertise to the development and implementation of solutions using basic dimensional modeling techniques. Make recommendations for improvements in these areas, if necessary. · Ability to develop and support data extracts, data transfers, and load jobs · Development of ETL solutions for legacy and new development · Provide business expertise for the development of Business Intelligence solutions. · Provides technical support for existing Data Warehouse ETL processes. · Assures quality of design and implementation of projects. · Trouble-shoots application software/hardware problems as they apply to design, implementation, or installation activities. · Schedules and coordinates application maintenance activities. · Participates in on-call, overnight off-hour production problem resolution activities when required. · Follows DMS related standards and procedures, knows where they are located, and incorporates them. Follows ETS software development processes. · Researches, evaluates, and tests new software and DW related tools and facilities as they pertain to the existing DW environment and applications. · Monitors current DW applications and develops procedures, where necessary, to improve the DW environment as required. · Identifies and supports quality improvement initiatives. · Performs other assignments to comply with the IS&T corporate purpose and mission to add business value, increase revenue, decrease costs, improve productivity, and support the strategic initiative/directive. · Complies with all ETS security and audit standards. · Manages the work of ETS vendors to achieve quality result. *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: * · Must have *extensive *knowledge in *Oracle database programming skills with Oracle and PL/SQL * · Must have *extensive *technical *skills in Linux environment* · Must have strong analytical skills to define functional requirements · Must have Strong knowledge of Linux shell scripting · Must have experience with *Data Warehouse implementations and ETL skills* · Autosys Job Scheduler · Linux Sync sort · Follow Change Control concepts and policies · Ability to work with offsite Vendor Technical Support for problem resolution · Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing · Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise · Microsoft SSIS knowledge a plus *EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:* The candidate must have at least 8 to 10 years of related experience in IT or a related field. The ideal candidate must have 5 years of applicable Data Warehouse experience and Oracle programming tools.
