The project will look to develop a tiered program to evolve and enhance its present video teleconferencing environment into a virtual hearing point space. *Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:* - Develop and maintain project charter, scope, strategy, schedule, risk plan, communication plan and work breakdown structure for the development and transition to a virtual hearing space. - Maintain detailed project plans with milestones and detailed roll out plan. Report and follow up on task completion. Elevate issues to management as appropriate. - Coordinate with ITS and GGC Networking and Communications staff to ensure approved network upgrades and tasks are completed. - Identify, maintain and report on critical path and contingencies. - Run kick off and project meetings. Issue agendas, document outcomes and action items. Follow up on outstanding tasks. - Work with Project Sponsor on reporting project status to Executive Staff, including Steering Committee meetings and monthly reporting. - Risk monitoring, control and mitigation planning. - Resource allocation estimating and reporting. - Develop project team structure, identify roles and manage project teams. - Lead communicator for the project. Develop and maintain project communication plan. Work with Project Sponsor on communications both internally and externally. - Report and communicate project status and updates at all levels of organization, with internal stakeholders, project team and executive staff. - Assist with effort to make recommendations for changes to network infrastructure. - Support during training and transition to Maintenance and Operations. *PART A: The ONE MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:* *Senior Level* *You must be a Senior Lead Project Manager with documented employment experience of 5-7 years (60-84 months).* - You must have experience overseeing projects comprised of multiple deliverables. Delegating and coordinating of tasks. Project status, meetings, scope changes, issues. - You must be able to work without assistance and can provide leadership for others; may have advanced education. *PART B: Requested Desirable Qualifications: *The numbered qualifications below are not mandatory, but candidates should meet or exceed in duration and skill set target asked for, at least 4 of numbers 1 through 7. 1. 12 months active PMP certification. 2. 60+ months experience as Project Manager for a major IT initiative. 3. 36 months experience as project team lead for an IT Infrastructure design and implementation project. 4. 24 months experience in maintenance of a project plan for a large IT infrastructure effort including at least 25 servers and a significant virtualization component with milestones and resources. 5. 60+ months experience in leading communication effort for major IT effort. 6. 48 months experience in risk identification & mitigation for a major IT effort. 7. 12 months experience with NYS PM methodology and NYS Guidebook.
