ASAP* *Positon1: IBM Cognos Developer* *Technical/Functional Skills * *IBM Cognos BI (preferably v10.x) product suite (Report Studio, Analysis Studio,* *Query Studio, etc.), Cognos ReportNet, Cognos - Access Manager, Data Warehouse concepts, Oracle, Teradata, DB2, SQL and related skills, dimensions, cubes / Rules / TI process /Active Forms / Webforms, javascript, HTML* *Experience Required* · *Proficiency with Cognos BI (preferably v10.x) product suite (Report Studio, Analysis Studio,Query Studio, etc.)* · *Expert in Framework Modeling* · *Experience in Active Reports development* · *Experience in creation and maintenance of Power cubes* · *Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries required* · *Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures* · *Excellent interpersonal ( verbal and written) communication skills are required to support* · *Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities* · *Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred.* *Roles & Responsibilities* · *Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements* · *Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources* · *Participate with other specialist to convert legacy reports (primarily Business Objects) to Cognos BI solutions.* · *Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence* · *Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.* · *Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reports* · *Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes* · *Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision* *Positon2: IBM Cognos Architect* *Job Description:* *Must have: * · *Expert in developing and designing architectural solutions according to project/business need * · *Ability to understand end to end scope of work by analyzing the requirements provided* · *Proficient in Data warehousing, Data Analysis, Source to Target Mapping, Multi-dimensional modeling and Relational modeling, Star schema, Snow flake schema, Fact and dimension tables and ETL Processes* · *Cognos Architecture and Design, Implementation of security at FM Model, Package and Report Level* · *Full domain knowledge of Cognos suite of tools.* · *Experience in Cognos 10x Framework and Report Development, Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio. OLAP and Dimensional Modelling techniques* · *Create Cognos schemas as per requirements.* · *Create reports, dynamic dashboards as per the requirements.* · *Architect the Cognos 10 reporting for the insurance data mart(s).
