1)
When they have the vlan tables and they ask you to
name the vlan as "VLAN A" for example do they mean
"VLANA" WITHOUT the space?
The switch won't let you put a space in the name.
2)
When it tells you that 172.16.1.0/24 and 172.16.2.0/24
should only appear in any routing table as a connected
route...
Does that supersede the earlier requirement of having
full connectivity?
3)
In the PG solutions for the frame-relay setup. When
they did the frame-relay maps at each of the routers,
why did they include the broadcast keyword on the
frame-relay map to their own routers address?
ie)from R2
interface Serial0/1/0
frame-relay map ip 151.11.26.6 206 broadcast
frame-relay map ip 151.11.26.2 206 broadcast
I thought you weren't supposed to add the broadcast
keyword on a frame map to yourself.?
4)
In the NTP section I didn't really see anything i the
requirement that led me to think i had to use the
loopbacks as a source, but the PG said you had to..
Can someone explain?
"configure r5 and r4 to et clock information from r6.
r6 should have a stratum 2 less than default. updates
should be authenticated using a password of
"ipexpert-clock" this facility should be provided as
long as there is avalid path between the hosts."
5)
DHCP section
It says to configure r9 to act as dhcp server to hosts
on vlanf which is (151.11.77.0/24)
but in the config the pool is for vlang
(151.11.89.0/24)...
???
sorry for all the questions guys!
