Yes.  In a link-state protocol like OSPF the link-state database must be
identical on all the routers in an area.  Therefore, when you use the
distribute-list in command in OSPF what actually happens is you filter
between the OSPF database and the RIB.  The router still gets the
information and has it in the link-state database.
