Mani,
I believe (it's been a while since I installed/tried PCM) Putty Connection
Manager does not actually include/install putty. When you install PCM (or
when you run it for the first time) you have to tell PCM where putty.exe is
located. I think this is why you are getting "prompted" for the
installation.
The other option I know, and as Jeff recommends, is SecureCRT but the app
is not free.

Mani,
I know this is kind of a side step, but have you considered using
SecureCRT? You can use as many tabs as you need, as well as some very
good keystroke logging abilities.

Hi All:-),
I am unable to use Putty Connection Mgr, as it prompts me for
installation, each time I attempt for a SSH/Telnet to remote host.
Kindly let me know, if any body know how to overcome this situation. Also,
do we have any software, like putty connection mgr?, that allows us to
tab multiple putty sessions.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Mani B
