I can say that I didn't have any restrictions on what commands I could or 
couldn't use.  The lab does state that you are graded on getting a working 
solution and that you shouldn't make large sweeping changes, I.e. Replace RIP 
with OSPF.  I don't remember the exact wording, but that was th general idea.  
Most of my fixes were only a couple lines but sometimes on more than one 
device.

Hi Raj,

During the troubleshooting lab you do at Cisco you will have access to  
ALL commands. It might though that in a particular question you are  
prohibited to use some show commands. We do that in some of our labs  
so we force you to use a different troubleshooting method. This will  
teach you how to troubleshoot your network, even if the show run looks  
fine.

So keep in mind, it could be prohibited although I think it's a small  
chance in the real lab. Again our labs are designed to teach you  
right :-)
