All, thanks for the well wishes - it I s appreciated.

There is good news and bad news. The good news is that I pass the OEQs.
Somehow. I was worried that I might have missed 2 again as one of the
questions was in my opinion way out of line and most certainly not
answerable in four to five words.

The bad news is that I didn't pass the test.

I didn't get enough points in troubleshooting and I knew that coming out of
the section since I knew I didn't have 80%, I calculated more like 72% (1
task short). My score report however says something significantly lower
which is very unnerving to me. I felt like the troubleshooting section was
very straightforward and attainable, I just ran out of time.

With my low score, much lower than I expected though I feel like I must have
missed something very significant. I walked away from what I thought were a
lot of very clearly broken items now fixed and working as requested. I don't
think a reread of the test would be completely out of the question.

The lab was a very attainable thing too - just not for me today I guess. I
didn't do as well this time as last time, I guess you could say I had a bad
day and I pretty much felt like that all while I was taking the test.
Everything that could go wrong did almost.

It was more demoralizing than my first attempt. I hate failing at this and I
clearly need to take a step back, evaluate my strategy and press forward
deliberately. I need to get some things in order before I can consider going
again. I need to spend more time with the new topics - I got exactly what I
hoped I could get from them so that was good.

It was an extremely interesting experience overall but I really wish I had
passed. The lab portion was probably doable in the time frame they give you.
Plus, if you finish the OEQ and TS sections early, you get that extra time
for the configuration bits.

I'll compose something more regarding my whole experience and sent it to the
list separately.

Again, thanks for all the support.

-Mike
