If EIGRP by default uses the formula 256*(bandwidth+Delay) to determine it metric and a lower metric is better, then a lower bandwidth link is considered superior? I've never thought about it before, but this seems totally backwards. I understand why a smaller delay is desirable.
Can anyone shed any light on this, or do I have it all wrong? _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com
