That was my home lab when I was studying! (Same hw). It always put me at ease
too...of course that was 3.0 but you can do MOST things on that rack...by all
means not everything but it is an affordable setup : )

I still have my rack...can't let it go after so many good hours lol...I have
since added a 3560, 1841 and a 2811

I'm with Joe. I use it but only on certain things. I use my home rack most of
time or rent time - for me it makes me confortable and my mind is as ease. Even
though my rack is 2620xm 3640s and 3550s I can do just about most things so I
use that.

That said when I'm on the go or at lunch at work ill fire gns3 on laptop for
muliticast or spme bgp "drills" to keep me sharp.

So many people on here are gurus with it so I can't offer much help other than
ubuntu is perfect for this...

Hi Vikas,

I wish I could help you there, but I have never really used GNS3. I
have diddled with it briefly and always work on real gear. I was not
the author of that blog clearly : ) There are a few guys on the list
here that are very knowledgeable on it though so hopefully you will
get the answers you are looking for.
