Well it also depends what series you intend to run.

 

I too have recently bought i7 notebook with 4 GB ram. When I run 3725, I can
easily run 15 router topology at 18% CPU with 3.6 GB ram utilization. But
when I run any other series, even with 4 routers sometimes it goes up to 90%
despite setting IDLEPC again and again. So my recommendation to you would be
to use 3725 series and runs pretty smooth.

 I followed  Tyson instructions from the blog , my CPU is running most of
the times 90%, but using only memory 3GB( i am ok with this)

 

what you did to get the CPU down, i tried all different Idlepc but still
same issue
