*Dear Marko Milivojevic* if all the switches are in same vtp domain then will they not share every thing related to vtp envoirnment. vtp has been updated in server then it should have updated in client too automatically.
Regard Narendra Prasad ** *Marko Milivojevic* *Sun Mar 6 21:50:16 EST 2011* This is not a bug - it's an expected behavior. Clients cannot change operating parameters in the VTP domain, only servers can. If you wish o change operating version in the domain, you should do it from the server, or on the client before changing it to client mode. -- Marko Milivojevic - CCIE #18427 Senior Technical Instructor - IPexpert FREE CCIE training: http://bit.ly/vLecture Mailto: markom at ipexpert.com<http://onlinestudylist.com/mailman/listinfo/ccie_rs> Telephone: +1.810.326.1444 Web: http://www.ipexpert.com/ On Sun, Mar 6, 2011 at 18:22, <sfigueroa at mnet.com.mx<http://onlinestudylist.com/mailman/listinfo/ccie_rs>> wrote: >* Hello I found at some time that this was a BUG, then I do upgraded IOS. *>* *>* Best Regards. *>* *>* *>* *>* -----Mensaje original----- *>* De: ccie_rs-bounces at onlinestudylist.com<http://onlinestudylist.com/mailman/listinfo/ccie_rs> *>* [mailto:ccie_rs-bounces at onlinestudylist.com<http://onlinestudylist.com/mailman/listinfo/ccie_rs>] En nombre de Trony Tigno *>* Enviado el: Domingo, 06 de Marzo de 2011 06:19 p.m. *>* Para: lukasz at forward.pl<http://onlinestudylist.com/mailman/listinfo/ccie_rs> *>* CC: ccie_rs at onlinestudylist.com<http://onlinestudylist.com/mailman/listinfo/ccie_rs> *>* Asunto: Re: [OSL | CCIE_RS] VTP version *>* *>* Change the VTP operating mode from client to transparent or server.
