Word of advice - Do not over think the requirements as you will waste too
much time adding extra configuration which may also impact the results. You
do not want to impact your ability to complete the lab by wasting time on
"extra" configuration.

I know that you are just working through things but you may want to consider
whether the solution you provided meets the requirement, if so move on ;)

4 cents - (due to inflation) :P

Thanks Steve, Thanks Max!
Yeah i know it's probably not required, but like you i rather take no risks
and deliver as much as possible. i like full reachability ;-)

so you can't 'bounce off' dlci's more then 1 hop (as you would when
connecting via a hub) to get all the way from say r1 to r8 ? I thought if i
map it to the hub and the hub is connected to that specific router it would
work but i guess it doesn't. Like you said, am gonna need a routing
protocol for that!

Thanks again!,

commands, is FR Inverse-arp out of the picture :) ?? As Steve pointed out,
pinging your own interfaces would definitely be a proctor question, but for
good measure, I always make my interfaces to where they can be ping'd from
their own box and all others. (call me paranoid). And also, I believe some
of the Vol 1 labs were not intended for full reachability at the end. At
least thats what some of my findings and what others have mentioned on the
list before.

i am not sure how to do it on the point to point links between r2 and r4 and
r6 and r9. for the rest all is done ,lab is complete and everything is
working. What i mean is i want access to all nodes from r4, and from r9 over
those links.
