RIP is just slowww. my first statement is correct (more specific) the latter 
does work it just takes time.

the question still stands though. i wonder what is really necessary, they 
always say you can use anything to make it work, how far does that go, can i 
apply any solution as long as it does not break the overall requirements of the 
lab ? (f.e. if it does not state i have to advertise networks in, can i leave 
it out?)
