Hi Matt,

I'm glad to see someone from IPExpert stepping up here. I'm assuming you are
making this statement because your role as CTO puts you in a position to drive
the accuracy of the training material (I don't know IPExpert's internal
structure, of course). It's surprising to hear that you've never received any
reports of errors, as it means two things:

1. IPExpert's QA and publishing teams are not observing the OSL which is, by
definition, the active online user community for IPExpert products.

2. Other IPExpert staff such as Marko and Anthony, who are active on this list,
are not propagating error reports up to the appropriate teams, or their reports
are not being received/handled correctly.

There's a process breakdown somewhere. There are numerous posts on this list
from people who have posted errors to OSL, submitted them to other resources at
IPExpert, etc., and have simply given up reporting errors because of the
complete non-response and non-action. And then IPExpert turns around and rolls
out new products which certainly feels like a slap to any of us who have been
struggling through the existing products that go un-fixed.

I certainly understand that there's a fine line between lab errors and
presenting a realistic lab environment with all of its ambiguities. But for me
the line is the DSG. The DSG should be *correct.* For those of us on a
self-study path, the DSG is our instructor. I need it to be a reliable source
of correct information on the lab tasks.

I spent a lot of money on this program, and thought I did a lot of research in
to picking the "right" vendor, and so far I've been disappointed in the
workbook materials' quality. I very much hope you're sincere about stepping up
to start getting this right. I will forward my own DSG error reports to you
Matt, as I'd really like to feel like IPExpert's materials are a willing
partner in the studies, rather than feeling like they are yet another challenge
I have to overcome in my quest for CCIE.

Best regards,
Bob
