Hi There - I am working through Vol 3 lab 4. Task 4.1 says "do not allow Auto-RP announcements to be visible anywhere outside AS67" My solution - ----- access-list 10 permit any inte s0/1/0 ip multicast boundary 10 filter-rp ----- the DSG just applied an ACL in both directions blocking traffic to the Auto-RP destination address (224.0.1.39 and 224.0.1.40) then permitted all other traffic. My question is, did my solution work, and how would i verify it??? Should i try and ping the Auto-RP address from outside AS67? that would mean manipulating mroutes to make sure that traffic crosses the correct interface. Is there an easier way to verify the ip multicast boundary? _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job?
