Hi King,

I think shutdown on the active will replicate on the standby.

The best way is to shutdown the switchport.

Regards.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Security] ASA switching over from Active to stanby

Hi

If I shuthown a monitored physical interface, the active ASA doesn't swtich
over to standby.

Shutdown also brings the communication down, hence it should also be considered
as reason to trigger the failover.

With regards
Kings
