Kingsley,
Many of the labs are pretty difficult to finish in 8 hours. Some of the earlier labs like 11-14 are more doable in 8 hours but you have to be pretty quick to finish any of the others in that same time. Our stuff is a little more difficult than the actual lab because I think it is important to over prepare you than to under prepare you. The save function does work for multi-context now. Sorry forgot to say that I fixed it earlier this week. But be aware when working with the save function it isn't going to save any of the files from flash so if you want to restore your certificate server with the same settings for the next time then you would need to export all the files. More likely it is easier to just rebuild things like the PKI server etc. the next time you start a new session. I was reading thru the updated blueprint right now and there are things that are in each lab that may not be covered by another so I don't know that there is any lab that I can say you can definitely skip that one. Each one covers different topics in their own way. One good thing with the new blueprint is there is no question what is being covered on the actual test. Although it is very long it is nice to know exactly what you need to know, (Just everything) haha. J/K. Regards, Tyson Scott - CCIE #13513 R&S, Security, and SP Technical Instructor - IPexpert, Inc. Work through each lab in order in its entirety. The save functionality has been enabled for security so if you don't finish just save off the configs and continue where you left off next time. The save may have issues for multiple context mode so watch out for that. Save those configs manually. I would read the lab prior to your session and have an idea of what order you are going to do things in ahead of time. Time management is key, but so is understanding the technology you are working with so if you have to spend more time on a lab then do it, then do it again later but try to do it faster. Off the top of my head thats all I can think of. Hope it helps. Please suggest on how to go on with Vol 2. I took up the first lab today and it seems,I need to improve in my time management. If I need to learn these labs, I need to do complete them. * Should I do all the labs or selected labs? * Should I book for one slot 7.45 hrs and do as much I can? * If I need to continue the rest in some other day, how do I save the configs? Please suggest on how should I proceed with respect to the 8 hours lab and other stuffs going forward. I have completed all features labs/practices.
