Brian,

I take it your referring to Role Based CLI Access for IOS Routers.

If so take a look at the config guide:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/sec_user_services/configuration/guide/sec_role_base_cli_ps6441_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html

This is also a snippet from the deployment guide for ACS that may help:

For TACACS+ connections, use the Custom attributes box for Shell
configuration. The respective View and Tasks entries are:
cli-view-name=<cli-view-role-name>
(example: cli-view-name=view_one)
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/vpndevc/ps5712/ps2086/prod_white_paper0900aecd80737943.pdf
Failing that post up some configs and what your trying to achieve and we'll
try to assist.

Cheers
Stu
