HI all

The "ip accounting-list" filters the addresses and ip accounting-transit
entries are those that are not matched by the filter. The "ip
accounting-threshold" command defines the size for both active and
checkpoint database. Then which database size does "ip accounting-transit
entries" define?

Even after configuring accounting-filter, I still see that accounting for
other IP address that is not in the filter happening in the active database.

Are the filtered entries and transit entries put the active database? How
does ""ip accounting-list" and "ip accounting-transit entries" work?

*ip accounting-list*

To define filters to control the hosts for which IP accounting information
is kept, use the *ip accounting-list* command in global configuration mode.
*
ip accounting-transit*

To control the number of transit records that are stored in the IP
accounting database. Transit entries are those that do not match any of the
filters specified by *ip accounting-list* global configuration commands. If
no filters are defined, no transit entries are possible.
