Your proctor was an idiot then and incorrect. Report him if he was as big of a tool as you have described several times.

I was a little taken aback and asked the proctor about this. He was pretty annoyed that i destroyed his Halo kill-streak when i disturbed him and he said that configuration examples are blocked by cisco in the ccie-lab. I don't think this is true because, if i recall correctly Yusuf mentioned somewhere that the config examples and guides were available. When i sat my lab recently, i found that the config examples section was open and one could access all of them. I could even access the "end-user" for the ACS.
